About Marcus

Marcus Rhodes was appointed Director for the J. Reuben Long Detention Center in February 2020. He has more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement. Director Rhodes began his career in law enforcement in 1990. Prior to his career at the Horry County Sheriff’s Office, Rhodes served at the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety and the Horry County Police Department.

About Nadia

Nadia Pressley is currently employed with Williamsburg County Detention Center, where she has worked for 20 years, holding various positions. She began her career in law enforcement as a Correctional Officer in 2005 with The Williamsburg County Detention Center and has been serving as the Jail Administrator for the past ten years. Pressley received specialized training in law enforcement from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, including Class 2 Law Enforcement Officer & Basic Instructor Development. She is also a certified Jail Officer through the American Jail Association, certified in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) through the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), and a certified Inmate Behavior Manager through the United States Department of Justice & National Institute of Corrections. Pressley is also the Assistant Terminal Agency Coordinator (ATAC) for the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office & Detention Center.

 

Pressley’s memberships include, but are not limited to, the South Carolina Jail Administrator’s Association, American Jail Association (CJO), South Carolina Training Committee (SCTC), and Palmetto State Law Enforcement Officer Association. She is also a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and is currently the President of The Kingstree Rotary (2024-2025).

 

She was raised in Nesmith, SC, and received her formal education in the Williamsburg County School System. She graduated from Hemingway High School in 2001 and furthered her education at Howard Adult Education, where she took Nursing courses. She has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from South University. Pressley is a member of St. John AME (Morrisville Community), where she serves on the Steward Board and is the coordinator for the young adult ministry, as an assistant Sunday school teacher, and a proud member of the missionaries. She has been blessed with two children, LeRon and Kelis Pressley.

 

 

James "Jimmy" Floyd

About Jimmy

Director Floyd has been in the law enforcement and security field since 1989. During his time in law enforcement, he has served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Lieutenant, Commander of the Narcotics Task Force, and SWAT Team Leader with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Horry County Police Departments.  He was hired as Director of Detention for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in March of 2019.  He also spent thirteen years in Afghanistan where he provided security for the US State Department. During his time overseas, he was responsible for security at twelve US State Department training facilities located throughout Afghanistan as part of the US training mission.

 

Director Floyd completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Francis Marion University in 1991 and added an Associates in Public Service, Criminal Justice Technology from Florence-Darlington Technical College in 1996.  He has graduated from numerous advanced training courses including the National Jail Leadership Command Academy Class 44 and the Southern Coastal Jail Leadership Initiative Class 1 .  He has received numerous awards including Distinguished Graduate Basic Law Class 242, Distinguished Graduate and Bert Friday Award Winner for Basic Detention Class 407, Meritorious Service, and has received the Purple Heart twice.  

  

Daniel Floyd

About Daniel

Daniel started his career in law enforcement in 1999 with the Newberry County Sherrif’s Office as a Telecommunicator (Class 4 officer). Two years later going through the SCCJA (Class 412) and graduated distinguished graduate as a class one officer. He worked as a road deputy for 2 years and then went into civil process. While in civil process he received The Larry Bragg Deputy of the Year Award and The Deacon Livingston Award. Captain Floyd is a negotiator for the Newberry Sheriff’s office CIRT team. Daniel is currently a Captain for the Sheriff’s Office and took over as the Administrator at the Newberry County Detention Center. Attending the academy for Basic Detention (Class 372). Captain Floyd is married to Rosemary Floyd, children Cora and Sam with twins on the way. Community involved as a youth coach and with his church as well as a founding member of Cooking Que for Christ Ministries a non-profit organization.

 

Stephen Anderson

About Stephen

Major Stephen Anderson is the Jail Administrator with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, where he has been employed for 12 years. He has been married for 16 years to his wife Sarah and has three children Caroline, Carlee, and Canaan. Major Anderson is a 2001 graduate of the University of South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies. Stephen was appointed to the Cherokee County Behavioral Health Task Force in 2017. He is the Associate Pastor of True Direction Church of God in Gaffney. Stephen has a passion for training and believes in doing what makes sense and striving to be better every day.
