The goal of the South Carolina Jail Administrators Association (SCJAA) and National Jail Leadership Command Academy (NJLCA) is to provide training for succession preparation, and to develop leadership skills for successful transitioning of mid-level managers into senior leadership positions within jails. This training scholarship will be awarded by the South Carolina Jail Administrators Association to a deserving member in good standing. Applications are to be submitted through the SCJAA, where the SCJAA Board will make the recipient selection. This scholarship will be awarded annually and will be rotated amongst counties.
